I'm a product designer currently doing my final year in the Bachelor of Information (BI) program at the University of Toronto focusing on UI/UX design.
I was born in Shanghai, China and grew up in Vancouver, Canada. Now, I'm in Toronto ready for the next chapter of my life!
I'm a curious and passionate product designer who loves using creative solutions to create products that help to solve users' pain points and fulfil their needs. I also excel at using products in "off the beaten path" ways to find unique and unexpected problems.
When I'm not being a hermit in front of my monitor doing assignments or work,
I enjoy lifting, swimming, and sparring in the boxing ring. I also love watching Netflix documentaries and educational videos on YouTube. I tend to notice small, sometimes random elements in my daily life. One of my recent discoveries when comparing burger wrappers is that Burger King has the best wrapper among other fast food contenders. It sufficiently prevents the sauce, oil, and juice from leaking everywhere, therefore providing the best eating experience (taste aside) if you are ordering delivery or takeout.
